I have been an active member of the Bucks County Bar Association for my entire career, including chairmanships of various committees.
I am pleased to just been appointed to its Board of Directors for a two-year term. I am excited about the prospect of working with my peers to enhance the personal and professional lives of an outstanding organization of legal professionals and the community at large.

The exclusive remedy for terminated employees to collect from their former employers is the Unemployment Compensation system. We take paying into the system for granted. Every employment paycheck has a mandatory payroll deduction. Yet not every employee - following a termination or a voluntary quit - acts promptly to file a claim and preserve their rights. If the former employee is deemed eligible for benefits, the effective date is not the date of separation from employment but the date of first application.

Our office speciallizes in Landlord and Tenant cases. The Magisterial District Courts have exclusive original jurisdiction over most of these cases. I appear regularly in these Courts throughout Bucks and Montgomery Counties.
